Why Rememb

Why I built Rememb

I'm a developer and freelancer who spent years losing billable hours to manual time tracking. Every tracker I tried demanded rituals — start the timer, remember to stop it, log the project — and the moment I dropped into focus mode, the timer was the first thing I forgot.

The cloud-based tools were worse. They wanted accounts, subscriptions, and a permanent upload of where my day went. I'd rather lose the data than hand it over.

So I'm building Rememb: a quiet, automatic, fully local Windows activity tracker. One purchase, yours forever, your data never leaving your machine. Next up: deeper categories, productivity ratings, and a Company tier for small teams.
